The anime production team for the upcoming Arknights [Prelude to Dawn] adaptation has revealed a new official trailer highlighting characters and scenes from the show. An exact premiere date has yet to be revealed.
News of an anime adaptation for the popular mobile RPG Arknights was first confirmed as a “season one” in an official announcement trailer made last October. Additionally, seiyuu Takashi Matsuyama will voice the character Ace, who was previously unvoiced in the game. A key visual for the anime was also released in January 2022.
Arknights [Prelude to Dawn] will be directed by Yuuki Watanabe with Masaki Nishikawa as assistant director. Both have previously served as unit directors and storyboarders on several promotional videos for the Arknights game. Aya Takafuji, who worked on the animated trailer for Blue Archive, is handling animation character design.
Yostar Pictures will be in charge of animation production for the series. The company has previously produced numerous animated promotional videos for the Arknights game.
