The Shine Post multimedia idol project has released an anime music video for the song “GYB!!” by the HY:RAIN idol unit.
The music video’s staff includes Hiroyuki Takashima (Symphogear XV co-action director) as director and storyboarder, Yuusuke Souen (Shine Post “Be Your Light!!” co-storyboarder, Symphogear XV animation director) as chief animation director, Naomi Nakano (Shine Post “Be Your Light!!”) as color designer, Jun Kubota (PuraOra! Pride of Orange) as photography director, and Miyake Masakazu (Tribe Nine) as art director. Studio KAI is the animation production company.
Meanwhile, the HY:RAIN voice cast includes Yuu Serizawa as Ren Kurogane, Kurumi Takase as Aoba Karabayashi, Miyu Kubota as Itoha Karabayashi, Tomoyo Takayanagi as Nanoka Hiumi, and Arisa Kouri as Yarawa Naekawa.
The Shine Post project includes an upcoming mobile game, a light novel series, live events, and an upcoming anime. The Dengeki Bunko-published light novels, written by Rakuda and illustrated by Buriki, follows the TiNgS idol unit and their unmotivated manager. The anime’s website describes HY:RAIN as a rival unit to TiNgS.
The Shine Post anime is set to premiere in July 2022 in Japan.
