Marina Horiuchi has been announced as the ending song artist for the upcoming The Devil is a Part-Timer!!. The song’s title is “Mizukagami no Sekai.”

Previously, it was announced that Minami Kuribayashi was performing the opening song “WITH.”

The Devil is a Part-Timer!! is set to premiere in Japan in July. The first season, The Devil is a Part-Timer!, was released back in 2013. The anime is based on the Kadokawa-published light novel series written by Satoshi Wagahara with illustrations from 029, which ran from 2011 to 2020 with 21 main tankoubon volumes.

Crunchyroll describes the first season as:

Foiled by a hero when he’s inches away from conquering the world, the devil finds himself in modern-day Tokyo. With no real-world skills to speak of, the devil is forced to make ends meet flipping burgers at a fast food joint! To stall any further plans of world domination, the hero tracks the devil’s trail and takes on the lowly tasks of a telemarketer.

The staff of the second season includes Daisuke Tsukushi (Isekai Cheat Magician) as director, Yudai Iino (22/7 animation director) as character designer, Masahiro Yokotani (The Devil is a Part-Timer!Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 2) as series composer, and Yoshihiro Takeda (Divine Gate animation director) as chief animation director.

Other staff include Kusanagi’s Manabu Otsuzuki (Tokyo Revengers) as art director, Wish’s Akemi Teshima (The Devil is a Part-Timer!, Princess Connect! Re:Dive) as color designer, Asahi Production’s Ryou Iijima (Star Twinkle Precure the Movie: These Feelings Within The Song Of Stars assistant photography director) as photography director, and Ryousuke Nakanishi (The Devil is a Part-Timer!Full Dive: This Ultimate Next-Gen Full Dive RPG Is Even Shittier than Real Life!) as music composer. Studio 3Hz is the animation production company.

Meanwhile, the returning cast includes Ryouta Oosaka as Sadao Maou, Youko Hikasa as Emi Yusa, Nao Touyama as Chiho Sasaki, Yuuki Ono as Shiro Ashiya, Hiro Shimono as Hanzo Urushihara, and Kanae Itou as Suzuno Kamazuki. Hina Kino is voicing Alas Ramus.

The light novels are published under the Dengeki Bunko label and have inspired several manga series. Yen Press publishes the light novels in English.
