Following the recent discovery of the ROG RTX 3090 EVA, it now appears that Asus ROG will also release a ROG MAXIMUS Z690 HERO EVA EDITION motherboard as part of their teased collaboration with the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise.
Based on the ROG Maximus Z690 Hero, the EVA EDITION motherboard will feature the color theme of the first non-prototype Evangelion unit, Evangelion Unit-01. Promotional images obtained by Nichepcgamer also reveal a custom illumination of Evangelion Unit-01 on the Polymo Lighting display, while the UEFI will also follow the Neon Genesis Evangelion theme and feature Evangelion Unit-01.
