The Yuri Is My Job! manga by Miman is getting a TV anime adaptation. A teaser trailer and visual have been released.
Directing the show is Hijiri Sanpei, who was the assistant director of the 2018 yuri anime Citrus. Taisuke Iwasaki (Higurashi: When They Cry – Gou and Sotsu co-sub character designer) is designing the characters for the anime. Passione and STUDIO LINGS are producing the show.
Meanwhile, the cast of Yuri Is My Job! includes Yui Ogura as Hime Shirasagi and Sumire Uesaka as Mitsuki Ayanokoji.
The Ichijinsha-published manga began in 2017 and will release its 10th tankoubon volume on May 18, 2022. It is serialized in Comic Yuri Hime and published under the Yuri Hime Comics label.
Kodansha describes the story as:
Hime is a picture-perfect high school princess—she’s admired by all and never trips up! So when she accidentally injures a café manager named Mai, she’s willing to cover some shifts to keep her facade intact. To Hime’s surprise, the café is themed after a private school where the all-female staff always puts on their best act for their loyal customers. However, under the guidance of the most graceful girl there, Hime can’t help but blush and blunder!
