The Uta no Prince-sama Maji Love ST☆RISH Tours television anime special is set to air on July 31, 2022. The 1-hour special will commemorate the franchise’s 10th anniversary, as well as promote their upcoming film on September 2, 2022. 

A key visual for the special was also released, showcasing core characters from the franchise. News of the special was first confirmed on March 27, 2021.

All voice cast members from previous seasons of Uta no Prince-sama are reprising their roles for the special.

Chika Nagaoka (Uta no Prince-sama: Maji Love Kingdom) is directing the television special. Chinatsu Kurahana (Samurai Flamenco) is credited with original character designs while Maki Fujioka (Sailor Moon Eternal) handles the anime’s character designs and chief animation direction. Broccoli and Noriyasu Agematsu (Visual Prison) are credited with the original work. Elements Garden is composing the music and A-1 Pictures is once again in charge of animation production, after handling the work for previous seasons.  

The Uta no Prince-sama multimedia franchise was developed by media company Broccoli and has inspired many video games, spinoffs, manga, stage plays, and music. It also inspired four television anime series, including a feature film that was screened at Anime Expo 2019. 

Sentai Filmworks has licensed and streamed the first, second, and fourth season of Uta no Prince-sama for North America, as well as the film. They describe the first season as:
