The Nights with a Cat manga is getting an anime adaptation which will premiere this summer. A commemoration illustration from mangaka Kyuryu Z was released.
The anime’s staff includes Minoru Ashina (Isekai Quartet) as director and scriptwriter, Minoru Takehara (Isekai Quartet) as character designer and animation director, and Kana Utatane (Akebi’s Sailor Uniform) as music composer. Studio PuYUKAI is the animation production company.
The Kadokawa-published Nights with a Cat manga began in 2020 and will release its third tankoubon volume on April 28, 2022. It is serialized on Comic Essay and published under the label of the same name.
Yen Press describes the story as:
When Fuuta comes home tired at night, all he wants to do is spend time with his new cat. All the mysterious habits and mannerisms of house cats are carefully reproduced in this relaxed and cute comedy about living with an adorable furball!
