Call of the Night has released another solo key visual and PV teaser trailer for a new character named Seri Kikiyou. The 15-second trailer spotlights the blonde vampire gal Seri (voiced by Haruka Tomatsu) in conversation with protagonist Kou Yamori.
The anime is scheduled to premiere this coming July. A separate solo PV trailer and visual for Kou’s childhood friend, Akira Asai, was revealed earlier in March.
In addition to Tomatsu, Call of the Night is headlined by Sora Amamiya as Nazuna Nanakasa, Gen Satou as Kou Yamori, and Yumiri Hanamori as Akira Asai.
Tomoyuki Itamura (The Case Study of Vanitas) is directing the anime series and Tetsuya Miyanishi (Aoharu X Machinegun) serves as the chief director. Michiko Yokote (The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!) is writing the anime’s screenplay while Haruka Sagawa (Child of Kamiari Month) is in charge of character designs. LIDENFILMS is handling the animation production and the anime will broadcast on Fuji TV’s Noitamina block.
The original manga by Kotoyama (Dagashi Kashi) was first published in 2019 and has released 10 tankoubon volumes as of April 2022. It is currently serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shounen Sunday magazine.

One sleepless night, Kou slips out to walk the streets. Life after dark is a revelation! When flirtatious Nazuna invites Kou to spend the night at her place in an abandoned building, he’s stoked!
