I’m Quitting Heroing Releases 3rd Trailer

I’m Quitting Heroing has released its third trailer ahead of its April 5 premiere in Japan. 

I’m Quitting Heroing is based on the Kadokawa-published light novels written by Quantum and illustrated by Hana Amano. Global Bookwalker describes the premise as:

A story of a retired hero rebuilding the Demon Queen’s army, for those of you who are struggling with work!

After saving the world, the strongest hero, Leo, has nowhere else to go. His overly strong power is something that a peaceful world doesn’t need. The place where he ends up working is his former enemy, the Demon Queen’s Army! This is the light novel version of the Japanese major online novel prize winning work!

The staff includes Yuu Nobuta (The Faraway Paladin director) as chief director, Hisashi Ishii (Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear series director) as director, Shigeru Murakoshi (Zombie Land Saga Revenge) as series composer, and Yuki Nakano (Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear) as character designer, Toshiyuki Tokuda (Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory) as art director, Sakie Suzuki as color designer (Z/X: Code Reunion), Tsunetaka Ema (Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul) and Rumi Ishiguro (Forest of Piano) as photography directors, and Kouhei Munemoto as music composer.  EMT Squared is the animation production company.

Meanwhile, the cast includes Kensho Ono as Leo Demonheart, Kaede Hondo as Echidna, Shizuka Itou as Steiner, Hitomi Oowada as Lily, Yumi Uchiyama as Mernes, and Tetsu Inada as Edvard.

The I’m Quitting Heroing light novels ran from 2017 to 2018 with three volumes and are published under the Kadokawa Books label. A manga adaptation by Nori Kazato began in 2018. The story originated as a web novel on Kakuyomu in 2017.
