A new piece of art for The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh Part 1 has been released, offering a look at Meliodas and both the younger and older versions of his son Tristan.
It was also announced that Ayumu Murase is voicing Tristan, while Mikako Komatsu is voicing the younger version of the character. Yuki Kaji is reprising his role as Meliodas.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh is a new two-part animated spin-off movie of The Seven Deadly Sins series. The first part will be released sometime in 2022.

The movie features an original story from the manga’s creator Nakaba Suzuki and will feature Tristan as the protagonist. Tristan is the main character of Four Knights of the Apocalypse, the Kodansha-published sequel manga to The Seven Deadly Sins that began in January 2021. The original The Seven Deadly Sins manga ran from 2012 to 2020 and has inspired manga spin-offs, light novels, and games.
Grudge of Edinburgh is the third and latest The Seven Deadly Sins anime movie, following 2018’s The Seven Deadly Sins the Movie: Prisoners of the Sky and 2021’s The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed By Light. Unlike the first two movies, Grudge of Edinburgh appears to be a full 3DCG affair. There have also been several anime seasons of The Seven Deadly Sins, the first of which aired in 2014 while the latest aired in 2021. A1-Pictures produced the first two seasons, the four-episode Signs of Holy War, and Prisoners of the Sky, while the other seasons and Cursed By Light were produced by Studio Deen.
Netflix describes the original series as:
After the Holy Knights stage a coup and kill her father, Princess Elizabeth sets out to find the Seven Deadly Sins, an outlaw band of tough knights.
